KUZEY STAR SHIPYARD SEABED DREDGING AND PIER DISMANTLING PROJECT

• Within the scope of the project, 275,000 m³ of seabed dredging and dumping work was carried out.
• The dry dock area was dredged to -18.00 meters elevation, and the shipyard maneuvering areas were dredged to -12.00 meters elevation.
• Slope arrangements and cuttings were made.
• Engineering calculations and bathymetry measurements were made.
• Within the scope of the pier dismantling and demolition project, a total of 126 prefabricated piles, each with a section of 50×50 cm and a length of 18 meters, were removed from the seabed, and additionally, 400 m³ of demolition work was carried out.
• The prefabricated concrete piles were removed from the seabed as a whole using a special method applied with the jack-up barge Rota Nehir.
